| Banco: Existe un solo banco, el BancoEstado, aquí puede realizar avance en efectivo con tarjeta VISA. Atienden de lunes a viernes de 8:00 a 13:00 hrs. |
Cash point: At the side of Banco Estado is located the only cash point, it is available the 24 hours a day and accepts Master and Cirrus cards. It has a second cash point placed in the mintmark of the service station; it is open at office hours. |
| Oil: There exists only one service station where you can find oil, kerosene, gasoline without problems. It is open from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 to 23:00. It costs about USD 0,65 per liter |
Supermarket : The island has a good supplying system, the stores are open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00. |
Airline : The only airline is LAN, it has flights from Santiago to Papeete with stop over in Eastern Island .. Tel 56-32-2100279 |
Telecommunications: In downtown is located ENTEL, it offers long distance calls services and sales of Male equipments with prepayment cards. It is open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 and 15:00 to 18:00. |

The main anchorage is located in Hanga Roa bay; it is protected against the wind. East (predominant) and the South, there are also other areas as Vinapu, Huituiti or Anakena Bay. Depending on the wind intensity, direction and sea conditions it would be necessary to be changing of anchorage |
The ships that draw until 2 meters can enter the Hanga Piko fishing cove; this is located in the west coast of the island. From 2006 the Yacht club of Eastern Island has been worried of enable and maintain a good anchorage with a maximum capacity of 4 yachts.
The entry into this fishing cove must be with the authorization of the maritime authority, and it is made by one of the two pilots of the Yacht club (they are the owners of the only yacht existing in the island, the Varua Vaika yacht of 37 feet that is in the same fishing cove). The price to enter is USD 150. This right is paid to the sea mayor of the fishing cove (boss of the fishing cove).

ARRIVAL TO EASTERN ISLAND : At 20 miles from Eastern Island you can communicate with “Pascua Radio” (maritime authority) on the 16 channel (VHF). They are available the 24 hours a day. The first place to anchor is in Hanga Roa bay. HANGA ROA BAY ANCHORAGE: With good wind is the best place to anchor after Hanga Piko. The anchor is developed in the coordinates xxxxx south latitude and xxxxx west longitude. The depth is 20 meters and the bottom is of sand.
